Anonymous (OpIsrael): As part of the ongoing OpIsrael campaign, an attack took place yesterday against Alvarion, a technology firm in Israel. While the DDoS attack was successful in taking the company’s website offline, it was restored relatively quickly. Members of Anonymous have been working to keep attacks against Israel going for one full week from the official start of OpIsrael on April 7th. While the volume of attacks has not been heavy aside from the very start of the operation on April 7th, they have continued consistently since then.
Analyst Notes
More attacks will likely be attempted today and tomorrow to fulfill the group’s desire for one full week of attacks. It is possible that more attacks will take place after Saturday, but they will probably begin to trail off.
