David Opperthauser

David Opperthauser is an accomplished revenue operations executive with more than 20 years of experience driving operational excellence, scalable growth, and data-driven decision-making across global technology organizations. At Binary Defense, he leads Revenue Operations initiatives focused on improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening operational discipline, and enabling predictable revenue growth. David specializes in aligning cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, customer success, and finance to improve performance, enhance visibility into pipeline health, and accelerate revenue outcomes.

Prior to joining Binary Defense, David served in senior Revenue Operations leadership roles at Red Canary, Appen, Aerohive Networks, and Riverbed Technology, where he built and scaled global operations functions supporting organizations ranging from emerging growth companies to multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Throughout his career, he has led major system and process transformations, including enterprise CRM deployments, forecasting modernization initiatives, and deal desk optimization programs that collectively generated significant revenue growth and operational efficiency. David holds a CPA designation and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Accountancy and Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
