Heather Stump

As Vice President of Security Engineering, Heather leads the team responsible for designing and delivering tailored SIEM security solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients across industries. She brings a strong focus on aligning technical architecture with real-world operational requirements, ensuring solutions are both effective and sustainable.

With a strong focus on client experience, Heather excels at navigating varying requirements, stakeholder priorities, and evolving security needs. Her ability to translate technical concepts into actionable plans, combined with her commitment to operational excellence, has consistently resulted in successful deployments and long-term client satisfaction.

Her strength lies in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, a skill she has honed over 8 years at Binary Defense and in prior Solution Delivery leadership roles. Heather joined Binary Defense as a Senior Project Manager and has grown with and evolved the Security Engineering and Customer Onboarding teams, helping organizations operationalize security tools in ways that drive real value. She is passionate about building lasting relationships and creating positive client experiences that extend well beyond implementation.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship & Technology Management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
