Binary Defense Recognized in the Gartner Market Guide for Managed Detection and Response Services for Second Year

For the second year in a row, Binary Defense has been identified as a Representative Vendor in the Gartner Market Guide for Managed Detection & Response Services (MDR) report (July 2019 edition; available to subscribers).

The Gartner Market Guide defines MDR as follows: “The goal of MDR services is to rapidly identify and limit the impact of security incidents to customers. These services are focused on remote 24/7 threat monitoring, detection and targeted response activities. MDR providers may use a combination of host and network-layer technologies, as well as advanced analytics, threat intelligence, forensic data, and human expertise for investigation, threat hunting and response to detected threats.” According to the guide, “by 2024, 25% of organizations will be using MDR services, up from less than 5% today.”
